Accommodation
To learn well you must be comfortable. Take your time when choosing your accommodation and meals.
Ask yourself some important questions:
• Which accommodation option will help my English?
• What form of accommodation best suits my budget?
• If I am totally independent will I be isolated?
• Do I want to cook for myself?
Important:
If you are unsure of which form of accommodation to choose we recommend you take Homestay for the first four to six weeks and then choose an accommodation option that suits you.
If you want price details and more detailed information please contact The Language House.

Homestay
We generally recommend our clients stay with a family. This service is called Homestay. You have your own private room with a bed and desk. This is by far the most popular and economic accommodation option. It is also the most economical. A Homestay family is the ideal environment to practice your developing language skills. We will ask you a number of questions concerning diet, allergies, domestic pets, children, smoking, etc. to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Meals
Most clients choose Homestay half-board (breakfast and evening meals). This leaves you free to do other activities (like homework!). You do not have to worry about shopping and cooking. You can buy your lunch at restaurants or cafeterias. Many schools also offer Homestay with bed and breakfast.
Executive Homestay
Some schools offer two levels of Homestay - standard and deluxe. Executive Homestay facilities are a little more luxurious and may include a private bathroom, a large comfortable bedroom and better-than-average meals.
Student residence
Single or shared rooms in residences are often attached to schools or universities. Residences are usually basic and suit the more independent clients. Some provide half-board, most offer bed and breakfast and some do not provide meals.
Apartments
In most cities you may rent a furnished apartment - small studios to two bedroom apartments.

Hotels and guesthouses
Most schools have special deals with local hotels and guesthouses.
House share
Some schools also offer the possibility of sharing a house (suitable for long-term clients). You shop and cook for yourself and share the facilities in the house with the other residents who may be local people of other students. Ideal for the independent person.
Airport Transfer
All our partner schools offer airport transfer on arrival. A representative from the school will be waiting for you with an easy-to-see welcome sign with either your name or the name of your chosen school on it. This is an optional service and there is a charge.
